Into the ancient forest canopy

Kibira National Park is Burundi's largest rainforest β€” a mist-shrouded world of montane canopy, moss-covered trails, and rare primates. Over two days we trek with expert trackers to encounter chimpanzee communities and Angola colobus monkeys in their natural habitat, overnighting in a bush camp beneath the forest.

Tour Highlights

  • Guided chimpanzee trekking with expert trackers
  • Angola colobus monkey habituation
  • Montane rainforest overnight bush camp
  • Over 200 bird species including Albertine Rift endemics
  • Traditional forest healing plant walk with local guide
